As part of the Bavarian research project 5G-Today, a 5G test field for broadcasting is being created in the Bavarian Oberland.

- Investigation of the broadcasting mode FeMBMS (Further evolved Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) in 5G for large-area TV transmission
- Transmission standard for smart devices and TV screens
